On 30 November 2021, the Honourable Mr Justice Chow JA (Sitting as an additional Judge of the Court of First Instance) approved our application for the transcript of the audio recording of the hearing on 7 October 2021 in HCAL 295/2021 to be circulated in the public domain.
The official transcript of the Court proceedings records the Respondents’ clarified position, which covers an extensive range of issues concerning various government bodies, and policies and practices under various Ordinances and/or Regulations in relation to the handling of the after-death arrangements of same-sex deceased spouses by their widows/widowers.
