Our Mr. Mark Daly was invited by the HKU Faculty of Law to speak on 8 November 2023 alongside a panel of esteemed legal practitioners, LGBT+ activists, and scholars following the recent judgment of Sham Tsz Kit v Secretary for Justice, where the HKSAR Government was ordered to establish an alternative framework for the legal recognition of same-sex partnerships in the next two years. The Panel shared their views on the groundbreaking decision and what the decision entails for the LGBT+ community in Hong Kong.
